Kalina qualified in Poland in 2005 from Gdańsk Medical University. She has been practising in the UK since 2010, worked in this dental practice since 2015 and finally became the owner of Venus Dental in 2019.

Kalina holds a Master's degree in Implantology and Oral Surgery and has a strong interest in Dental Sleep Medicine and Airways.

After presenting her thesis in Rome on Implant prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with orofacial pain, bruxism and sleep apnea, she was invited to lecture at the 2nd ICCMO Congress 2020 in India, Bangalore, an event which The International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics organised. The Congress focused on aspects of Airway in Dentistry. "The Airway Truth" gathered international speakers from all associated specialities. The connection of the whole body with the stomatognathic system is a much-needed science to treat our patients as a whole and improve their quality of life.

Alongside general dentistry, Kalina also provides Vivos and Invisalign treatment to straighten teeth and improve the airways with comfortable, clear, removable aligners.

Nicole graduated in 2002 from the University of Jena in Germany, where she later worked as a Clinical demonstrator. She undertook postgraduate research during this period, gaining her higher doctorate (PhD) in 2006. Nicole came to Devon in 2010.

Early in her career, she developed an interest in Anxiety Management and Dental Hypnosis. Nervous patients and children feel especially well in her care. She undertook courses in Dental Acupuncture, which can be a valuable tool alongside dental treatment for Dental anxiety, gag reflex and muscular facial pain.

Nicole provides a high standard of general and cosmetic dental care in a gentle and calming way. Sound preventative dentistry is the cornerstone of her approach, earning her a loyal patient following.

In the past, her interest in cultures and languages inspired her to work with various medical charity NGOs. She worked in rural areas in the Philippines, Nepal, and Nicaragua.

Outside dentistry, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family. She has a passion for photography, rewilding, and permaculture, and she recently started her journey in the martial arts of Tai Chi and Kung Fu.
